The Remo Nuskyn S-Series bongo drum head is crafted form Remo’s most technically advanced film. This bongo head has a comfortable sound, feel and warmth without unwanted overtones. Remo designed this Nuskyn drum head with a shorter collar to fit popular curved counterhoops. It features a glued Weatherking-style Nuskyn 3 head with an angled crown and a Crimplock aluminum support rim (flesh hoop). Remo’s Crimplock is a process that folds the aluminum channel over the top, closing the open channel flesh hoop for added durability.

This head is for the smaller of the two bongo heads, traditionally called the macho. Its 6-3/4″ size fits most small macho bongos.
