Paxman – Series 5 Bb/F Full Double French Horn

The pinnacle of the range, the Series 5 is a professional level instrument designed to satisfy the highest level of expectations.

The Series 5 is a horn with a yellow brass detachable bell, a professional quality valve section, hand guard, mouthpipe guard, waterkey, independent Bb tuning slide and nickel silver valve casings. Loosely based on the Paxman model 20, the bell has a similar profile to the Paxman medium bell and the mouthpipe is designed to complement this. The playing style is very responsive, with a rich, warm sound and excellent projection that easily carries to the back of the concert hall
