Jones – Artist Oboe Reeds

Only the most select cane from the Mediterranean basin is used in Jones’ Artist Oboe reeds. The Artist reed is designed for intermediate to advanced players. They utilise the traditional long scrape preferred in the United States, allowing each player to grow into the full range of the oboe. Our Artist Oboe Reed is tuned to 440 Hz. The “crow” of each reed is adjusted to an exact pitch, and the reed is played throughout the range on a professional oboe.
