This 1967 Epiphone Riviera is a truly excellent example of a Gibson-made semi-hollow body from the era. The guitar is overall very clean with mild playwear throughout, the most notable being significant and centralized buckle rash on the back of the body. There is moderate wear on the back of the neck, along with light wear around the edges of the headstock. All of the wear is consistent and honest, giving the guitar a naturally played-in character.
The Epiphone E on the pickguard has nearly worn away, and the pickups are factory-wired out of phase in the middleposition. Gibson Repair & Restoration performed a fresh refret and installed a new nylon nut, and a Gibson Custom ABR-1wired bridge was installed to replace the original, which was sinking slightly (included in case).
It comes with its original black and goldenrod case, along with a Certificate of Authenticity, Letter of Appraisal, and new Limited Lifetime Warranty
