The biscuit resonator delivers distinctive, classic Dobro tones. The tone of the Hound Dog M-14 is rich and full, with quick decay that makes both fingerpicking and slide smooth and easy in all registers.
Mahogany Neck: The mahogany neck has a natural satin finish with a round, easy-to-fret 1960s SlimTaper neck profile that is joined to the body at the 14th fret with neck-stick construction. The rosewood fretboard has pearloid dot inlays with 19 medium frets, a 12 radius, and a bone nut.
Dual Action Truss Rod: The first generation of original Door instruments looked great but often suffered from warped necks and poor intonation.
