Few guitarists embody Epiphones For Every Stage philosophy quite like Paul Bonehead Arthurs. From intimate early gigs at The Water Rats to the historic Knebworth concerts, Boneheads Epiphone Riviera was a constant companiondelivering the driving, textured rhythm work that helped define Oasiss unmistakable sound. His most legendary instrument, a 1984 Riviera, was front and center during the recording of Definitely Maybe, (Whats the Story) Morning Glory, and throughout the bands meteoric rise in the 1990s. Now, Epiphone is proud to offer a faithful recreation of that iconic guitar.
The new Epiphone Bonehead Riviera features a five-ply maple body with a solid maple centerblock, designed to enhance sustain and reduce unwanted feedback. Cream binding outlines the top and back, while the three-piece maple neck sports a SlimTaper C profile and volute, topped with a bound rosewood fingerboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid parallelogram inlays. The Sloped Dovewing headstock includes premium die cast tuners with oval metal buttons, a Graph Tech nut for smooth tuning, and a two-ply crescent bullet truss rod cover with the Epiphone E logo. The headstock also showcases a mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown, along with Boneheads signature reproduced in gold on the back.
Equipped with a pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, the Bonehead Riviera delivers rich, vintage-inspired tone. Each pickup is controlled by individual volume and tone knobs with CTS potentiometers, black witch hat knobs with silver inserts, and dial pointers for quick visual reference. A hardshell case is included, making it easy to protect your gear whether youre heading to rehearsal, a recording session, or your next tour stop.
