About Ultimate Brass
Established 2013 in Philadelphia, PA., by Chinese-born bass trombonist Mr. Sun He, Ultimate Brass started as a brass instrument repair studio and later became an innovative company that designs and makes brass instrument mouthpieces, trombones, trumpets, and brass instrument accessories.
Our clients include musicians from Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Aachen Chamber Orchestra, WDR Kln Philharmonie, Boston Symphony Orchestra, New Chicago Brass, as well as many other professional and non-professional musicians.
Ultimate Brass Mouthpieces and accessories are being used daily by members of Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Aachen Chamber Orchestra, Singapore Symphony, Melbourne Symphony, Beijing Symphony, Shanghai Symphony, Shenzhen Symphony and many other brass musicians across the world.
We make mouthpieces for all brass instruments and provide high-qualityrepair and modification service on brass instruments.
Design and Technology
We design our mouthpieces using two different methods: collaborating with successful brass musicians for our Signature Series or designed in the lab and then tested by professionals for our Standard Series. The design process is not only based on data but also on feedback and input from musicians and scientists. In the manufacturing process, we use the most advanced CNC machine along with other technologies to keep our tolerance to the minimum level. Our goal is to make air and energy transmitted to sound in a more efficient way in order to achieve a better result for your performance.
