Joyce Cheung: Jazzical Collection Album

Performed in the Freespace Jazz Fest in Hong Kong in 2021, Jazzical was a playful 70-minute performance which Joyce she re-imagines some of her favourite works in the performance, including Dvoraks New World Symphony, Debussys Claire de Lune and Chopins Fantaisie Impromptu.

This live recording of the performance, features Joyce Cheung and her 13-piece ensemble present a collection of familiar classical pieces with a contemporary twist. Retracing her musical roots and taking inspiration from jazz and fusion, this album brings you a unique musical experience where classical masterpieces are developed into jazz tunes.
