La Lutherie d’Art Antiqued 1757 Violin

Belgian violin maker Pierre Marcel’s excellent copy of a famed 1757 Giuseppe Guadagnini violin. Beautifully constructed to recreate the look and feel of the original. An instrument that is a joy to play, with its clear and shimmering tone.

The two-piece back features soft, broad flames which shimmer under the transparent clear orange-red-brown varnish. The top is of choice, close-grained Alpine spruce. Quality ebony trim and pegs, genuine German Wittner mechanical tailpiece, and Guarneri model chinrest. A premium instrument by any measure.
