Those clever folks at Raillhammer pickups sat down with Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan to develop a neck pickup for his signature guitar. The result is part of Railhammer’s Billy Corgan Humcutter pickup line. This unique, hybrid design started with the voice and output of a classic P90, then adds a little extra “chime” on the top end for an added dollop of articulation. If you are a player who loves some sparkle on your clean sound, and some raw throatiness on overdriven tones, you will love these pickups.

Railhammer’s approach to pickup design puts rails under the bass side and individual pole pieces under the treble side to leverage the strengths of both.
