The Vater Heavy Splashstick is a thicker version of the popular Splashstick for extra weight and durability for heavier hitting drummers.
The drumsticks’ birch dowels provide warm acoustic tonality yet still produce a solid “crack” around the drum kit. The extended rubber grip on the Vater Splashstick leaves 4″ of the dowel exposed and gives a solid stick-like feel with excellent durability in the rim-shot area.
