The ES-350T Florentine was a stylish evolution of Gibsons electric archtop lineup, featuring a fully hollow body with a sharp Florentine cutaway, shorter 23.5 scale length, and deluxe appointments throughout. Paired with humbucking pickups by the early 60s, it became known as a warm, articulate instrument favored by jazz, blues, and rockabilly players alike.
This Gibson Certified Vintage 1962 ES-350T has all the vibe and character of a well-worn, fantastic player. Its incredible look includes loving playwear from frets two through seven, wear through the finish on the bass side of the lower bout and rim, and an overall naturally aged aesthetic shaped by years of honest use. The guitar was sent through Gibson Repair & Restoration for a neck reset, fretboard plane and refret, and installation of a new nylon nut. The worn original rosewood bridge was replaced with an aged Gibson Custom ABR-1, and a set of reproduction Kluson Deluxe single-line single-ring tuners now stand in for the original set, which had deteriorated.
With its golden caramel hue, Florentine cutaway, and broken-in feel, this is an exceptional example of a vintage ES-350T. Comes with its original brown and pink Lifton hardshell case and includes a Certificate of Authenticity, Letter of Appraisal, and new Limited Lifetime Warranty.
