The top is reinforced internally with our traditional scalloped X bracing, which also contributes to the Hummingbirds responsive tone and dynamics. The Hummingbird Standard Faded features a mahogany neck with a comfortable Round profile and is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard, complete with 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays, one of the visual hallmarks of the Hummingbird design. The classic Hummingbird pickguard features the instantly recognizable Hummingbird graphics as well. The neck is fitted to the body with a compound dovetail neck joint for outstanding resonance and sustain. This bird has a TUSQ nut, saddle, and bridge pins.
